Information about the procedure

Everyone has the right to request digital accessibility of the website, the mobile application or any of their elements. Requests may be submitted for making information accessible via alternative means of access, such as reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a film without audio description, etc. The request should include the details of the requester, indication of the website page or element of the mobile application concerned and the preferred mode of contact. If the requester wishes to receive information using an alternative access method, this person should also describe the method of presenting this information that is convenient for him or her. The public entity should fulfill the request immediately, no later than within 7 days from the date of the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity must immediately inform the requester when it will be possible to fulfill the request, but the waiting time must not be longer than 2 months from the date the request. If ensuring digital accessibility is not possible, the public entity may propose an alternative way of accessing the information. If the public entity refuses to comply with a request to ensure accessibility or an alternative method of accessing information, the requester may file a complaint regarding the digital accessibility of the website, the mobile application or an element of the website or the mobile application. After exhausting the procedure described above, the requester may contact the Polish Ombudsperson.

Architectural accessibility 
Hrbst Palace Museum –  72 Przędzalniana Street, 90-338 Łódź

In this facility visitors can see the palace, The Old Masters’ Gallery and the garden with the gazebo. There is a need to climb two steps at the entrance to the museum, next to the ticket offices, so persons in wheelchairs are asked to go to the service entrance at the entrance gate (from Tymienieckiego Street).

The Old Masters’ Gallery is located on the ground floor and is fully accessible. Here there is a toilet adapted for persons with disabilities. The floor where the offices are located can be reached by an elevator.

The garden with its paved paths can be accessed via a paved road. The gazebo has a floor made of wooden boards at the height of one step.

It is prohibited to bring animals to the Herbst Palace Museum premises, with the exception of guide dogs.

  • Monday: Closed

  • Tuesday-Sunday: 11:00-17:00

  • Thursday: 12:00-19:00

Induction loops

Stationary induction loops are installed in all the branches of the Museum, at their ticket offices.
 

Assistance dog

The Museum may be visited with an assistance or guide dog.
 

Quiet hours

The time friendly to persons on the autism spectrum and those sensitive to visual and sound stimuli is provided on every Thursday, from 17:00 to 18:30.

There are no educational sessions, tours or other noisy events during the quiet hours and the Museum can only be visited individually. The audience are asked to talk in low voices and silence their cell phones.
